Aldi Ireland has issued a recall on one of its food products due to the wrong sauce being included in several batches.
The supermarket giant is recalling all batches of Butcher's Selection Irish Smoky BBQ Ribs as consuming the sauce may cause an allergic reaction.
The sauce contains mustard and cereal containing gluten, which are not mentioned on the label.
Consuming it may be unsafe to those who are allergic to or intolerant of wheat, gluten or mustard.
A Food Safety Authority of Ireland warning said: "Aldi Ireland is recalling all batches of Butcher's Selection Irish Smoky BBQ Ribs because an incorrect sauce was included in several batches.
"The sauce contains mustard and cereal containing gluten (wheat) which were not declared on the label.
"This may make the incorrect sauce unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of wheat, gluten and/or mustard."
