Aldi's newest north Dublin store is set to open its doors to the public on Thursday.
The Bayside outlet will have a number of safety measures in place for customers and staff including:
- Social distancing measures with clear markings to show the 2 metre distance customers must maintain when queuing at checkouts
- A phased entry traffic light system at the store entrance to further help with social distancing
- Clear protective screens at every till
- Clear markers show the space customers must maintain when queuing to enter the store
- A self-service hygiene station upon entry to stores for cleaning both trolleys and baskets
- Hand sanitiser for customers at the store entrance/exit
- Hand sanitiser, gloves and facemasks for all employees
The store, which is located at Bayside Square West, will open to the public at 9 am.
