Summer has arrived as temperatures get set to exceed 20C in most of the country this week.
Due to restrictions on leaving your home and the recent spells of good weather, people are spending more time than ever out planting or rearranging their lawns.
But when it's time to put the feet up and soak up the sun, it's always nice to have a decent sunbed.
So it's fair to say Aldi Ireland is launching a range of recliner sun-loungers at just the right time.
A selection of comfortable garden chairs will be in Irish stores as part of the retailer's Specialbuys from this Thursday, May 21.
The supermarket giant has a black garden recliner costing €29.99 and three different colours of a reclining sun-lounger priced at €39.99, each going on sale this week.
Meanwhile, Aldi on Monday unveiled plans to open a new supermarket as part of a €160million investment in Ireland.
The new store is expected to open in Shannon, Co Clare, at the start of 2023.
The German retailer said the construction of the new facility will create 80 jobs and a further 20 permanent positions when it opens.
Aldi has submitted a planning application for the 1,315sqm store located close to the town centre at Airport Road to Clare County Council.
Adam Ward, Regional Managing Director at Aldi, said: “We are very excited to be coming to Shannon.
"This is fantastic news for shoppers and employment in the town.
"Every new Aldi store that opens brings greater choice, quality and value to shoppers.
“Aldi has a strong commitment to Co Clare, operating four stores in the county.
