Aldi is here to remind us that rosé wine is not only for Summer as the supermarket just introduced a selection of new additions to their Autumn/Winter range.
While this season may have a few of us reaching for a glass of red, the popular supermarket made the decision to launch a new premium rose wine range due to a surge in demand.
Sales of rosé wine increased by +22 per cent in 2020, and shows no signs of slowing with a bottle flying off shelves every six seconds.
Aldi wine expert Sam Caporn said: “Gone are the days of associating rosé with summer and I’m excited for shoppers to experience the beautiful pink plonk all year round.
"Aldi has really set the bar with its premium rosé offering, boasting delicious wines from across the globe. As the nights draw in, opt for rosés with a darker hue such as the Mimo Moutinho Portuguese Rosé or Specially Selected Chilean Organic Rosé, as these will offer more substance and richness that will pair well with warm winter foods.”
The supermarkets Autumn/Winter range now includes eight new premium wine varieties from the Rose category, which are all available on-line and in-stores.
With prices ranging from £5.99 to £9.99, they are perfect for anyone looking for good quality wine without breaking the bank.
