Aldi has released a bargain camping range ahead of Scotland's campsites reopening

Budget supermarket Aldi is today launching a range of affordable camping gear ahead of campsites reopening in Scotland this month.

Customers will be able to dip into the shop's camping Specialbuys collection from July 2, reports  Wales Online.

A pop-up gazebo that can be folded into a backpack and a range of cheap tents are some of the items available on offer - perfect for our ever-likely stay at home holidays this year.

It is welcome news as holiday accomodation across the country begins to reopen under Scottish Government guidance.

Self-contained accommodation without shared facilities will be able to open to Scots from July 3, while other forms of holiday stays will open from July 15 under the Government’s route map out of lockdown.

Whether you're planning a camp out in the garden or heading slightly further afield it's pretty easy to pitch up with Aldi's four-person Dome Tent.

Made with a Quick-Pitch system for a fast set up, the tent costs just £34.99.

Aldi can also provide campers with the equipment they need for a good night’s sleep with its Ultra-Light Sleeping Bag, £12.99, and Self-inflating Mat, £14.99.

For those keen to kick back and relax after exploring, or stay sheltered from our inevitable Scottish weather, Aldi's Backpack Gazebo, £39.99, is the perfect choice.

The compact, lightweight gazebo comes with a backpack carry bag for smooth transportation from A-B and the quick and easy set-up will keep the peace and let you focus on enjoying the great outdoors in comfort.

Also available is the Camping Chair, both light weight and compact, for just £17.99 and an Inflatable Ottoman, £9.99.

As with all Specialbuys, however, you'll have to be quick as once they're gone they're gone - the Aldi website recently crashed after they released an outdoor bar and a range of garden furniture.
