Aldi fans 'can't tell the difference' between £6 face mask and major brand worth £34

Supermarket chain Aldi has once again impressed beauty fans with an exfoliating clay face mask that is said to be a 'dupe' of a cult-favourite brand worth over £30.

The German grocer's Lacura brand has fast become the go-to for makeup, skincare and haircare 'dupes' that regularly fly off the shelves almost as soon as they land in the famed middle aisle section.

One of the latest beauty buys that shoppers are rushing to get their hands on is the blemish-reducing Lacura Pink Clay Mask which is said to be very similar to Sand and Sky's Australian Pink Clay Pore Refining Mask.

Priced at just £5.99, which is significantly cheaper than Sand and Sky's £34 price-tag, Aldi's pink clay mask became a huge hit with shoppers when it was first launched in 2018.

Described as the "ideal addition to your beauty routine", the Lacura Pink Clay Mask is great for anyone who is looking to completely detoxify their skin and get rid of any of those pesky blemishes.

The clay mask helps to draw out impurities and refine pores with extracts of exotic Australian Kakadu plum, while the addition of witch hazel leads to a clearer and brighter complexion.

Sand and Sky's cult Australian Pink Clay Pore Refining Face Mask also features Australian pink clay, witch hazel and kakadu plum to help even skin tone, tighten pores and battle breakouts.

Aldi's 'dupe' also comes complete with a nifty brush for a fuss-free application, and can be applied once or twice a week for just 10 minutes for a "brighter and radiant glow."

Despite being a budget 'dupe, Aldi's Lacura Pink Clay Mask has gone down a storm with shoppers who have compared it to the pricier brand and said they "can't tell the difference."

One reviewer said of the mask: "I was looking for a dupe of Sand & Sky's pink clay mask because it's expensive, and this did not disappoint! It's a little thinner in consistency, which I prefer as it's easier to spread and the S&S one often dried out in the tub. Tightens the same, feels the same, wipes off just as easily, and skin feels lovely after. Definitely recommend, and it's a fraction of the cost of S&S brand!"

A second glowing review read: "Sand and sky dupe. Goes on really well, I've used both and the original and can't notice much difference! Great mask for minimising pores at a bargain price, comes with a little brush which was a nice suprise."

A third added: "This mask is amazing. Goes rock solid after ten mins and really closes the pores and makes the skin feels so fresh. Great dupe too!"

The £5.99 Lacura Pink Clay Mask is an online exclusive only and can be purchased from the Aldi website.
