Aldi Easter 2020 opening times - when are stores open on Easter Monday?

It's Easter Monday and if you're planning to pop to Aldi, you should check opening times first.

The budget chain still has a range of Easter treats available in store, including a glorious-sounding hot cross bun bread and butter pudding.

The retailer has also lifted restrictions on popular everyday grocery items. The chain confirmed the news with customers this week, writing: "Due to out amazing colleagues our shelves are now fully stocked.

"We have therefore lifted restriction on most items across the store, including nappies, beers, wines and spirits".

So you'll be able to do your regular weekly or monthly shop too.

Easter 2020 opening times

  • Easter Sunday 12 April - All stores in England and Wales will be closed. All stores in Scotland will open until 6pm.
  •
  • Easter Monday 13 April -  All stores will open from 8am to 8pm.

Like Asda, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and other major supermarkets, Aldi is offering priority access to NHS workers.

Key workers in the NHS, Police and Fire Service with valid ID can queue jump to get into stores quicker.

The retailer is also allowing its elderly and vulnerable customers to shop in stores 30 minutes before standard opening times.

Shoppers are advised to double check details for their local store by visiting aldi.co.uk.

If you'd rather shop elsewhere, we've also rounded up the opening times for other UK supermarkets, so you can get everything you want while you're off work.
