Aldi customers love new 49p dip which tastes like Domino's

Aldi customers and pizza lovers are drooling over a 49p dip which they claim tastes just like a Domino's alternative.

The budget food retailer is upping its pizza game and shoppers love the sauce which they say is just like the garlic and herb version from the take away giants, reports Lancashire Live.

For many, a dip to dunk pizza crusts in is essential, whether that be chilli, garlic and herb, barbecue or sour cream.

And The Carlos Takeaway Garlic and Herb Dip is available in store now for just 49p - a fraction of how much Domino’s sell them for.

Aldi shoppers have taken to social media to share their love of the sauce.

One post on Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK received more 1,000 comments.

The author of the post said "I personally thought it tasted exactly the same as Domino's", while another Facebooker commented: "Best dip I've had in ages!! I need to get more."

It is the perfect accompaniment to Aldi’s Carlos Stuffed Crust Pizza (£1.59, 500g/493g) or the XXL Garlic Pizza Bread (£2.49, 500g), shoppers can create a mouth-watering fakeaway for a night in this winter.
