Aldi confirms the quietest and busiest times to shop in its supermarkets

Earlier this week Aldi confirmed that it would be extending its opening hours for lockdown.

Previously, stores across the UK had closed at 8pm in a bid to allow staff to replenish stock levels and to keep customer numbers down, but now the supermarket has made the decision to remain open until 10pm.

As a result, the quietest time to shop has changed, and now Aldi is urging customers to think about when they visit.

In a post on social media, Aldi wrote: "As always, we remain committed to ensuring the safety of our customers and colleagues is our top priority - that’s why we suggest shopping at these times when stores are a little quieter.

"Please note each store may vary, but we recommend using this information to help plan your shop."

The quietest and busiest times to shop at Aldi are:

  • Stores are quite busy between 8am-10am.
  • Stores are busiest between 10am-2pm.
  • Stores are quite busy between 2pm-7pm.
  • Stores are the quietest between 7pm-10pm.

You can check the opening and closing times for your nearest Aldi on the supermarket's store locator.
