Chocolate and children's dairy snacks have been recalled amid safety concerns.

Yoplait UK has issued a safety warning over its Frubes Variety Pack amid fears it could contain pieces of metal.

According to the Food Standards Agency it is recalling Yoplait Frubes Strawberry, Red Berry and Peach Variety Pack because of the risk.

It added: "Small metal pieces have been found in the peach flavour within the multipack which makes this product unsafe to eat."

Yoplait said customer safety was paramount but added: "Small metal pieces have been found in some of the peach flavour Frubes within this multipack.

"Although only a small number of products are expected to be affected, Yoplait is recalling the full range of this product with the listed Ust By Date, putting consumers safety as our ultimate priority."

It added: "No other Yoplait or Frubes products are affected by this recall."

Anyone who has bought this item is advised to return it to the store where it was bought, with or without a receipt, for a full refund.

Meanwhile, in a separate recall, Aldi has issued a warning over some of its Moser Roth chocolates.

The FSA said: "Aldi is recalling Moser Roth The Collection Milk, White and Dark Chocolates because they contain egg which is not mentioned on the label.

"This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg."

The affected products are a 160g pack and include all dates.

Aldi said: "Our supplier is recalling this product because the product contains egg, which is not declared on the label.

"Customers who are allergic to egg should not consume this product and can return it to one of our stores for a full refund."
