Three of the UK's major supermarkets have issued an urgent warning about some of the eggs on sale in stores.
Some of the eggs being sold Asda, Aldi and Sainsbury's have been recalled over fears they could be contaminated with salmonella, reports the Liverpool Echo.
A very small number of eggs may be contaminated with salmonella, due to it being found in the environment. The eggshell surface might also be contaminated.
Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
