Supermarket giant Aldi has issued an important message to any shoppers planning to visit over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The retailer has changed its opening hours for the Bank Holiday in more than 800 of its UK stores.

Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, over 800 stores in England and Wales will be open until 10pm on May 29 and 4pm on Sunday May 30, to ensure everyone can pick up everything they need to enjoy the long weekend.

Aldi told the Manchester Evening News that stores will be open until 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Aldi supermarkets will open at the following times over Bank Holiday weekend:

  • Saturday, May 29: 08:00 to 22:00
  • Sunday, May 30: 10:00 to 16:00
  • Monday. May 31: 08:00 to 20:00

The opening times of some stores may vary, so customers should check details on Aldi’s website before their trip. Opening hours in Scotland remain unchanged.

Customers wanting to use click-and-collect can visit the Aldi website to book a timeslot for collection in selected stores.
