Alcohol stolen in Co Derry burglary

Police are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at licensed premises

The incident is said to have occurred in the St Patrick’s Street area of Draperstown on Monday morning, March 16.

Constable Wray said: “It’s believed the burglary took place in the early hours of the morning, between 4.30am and 5.00am. A sum of money and quantity of alcohol were stolen.

“One male suspect is described as being of medium height and build, wearing a light-coloured hooded top with the hood up, work trousers and trainers.

“We are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch. If you noticed any suspicious activity, and in particular a man matching this description, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1545 of 16/03/20.”

Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
