Alcohol ban on trains to Gerry Cinnamon gigs at SSE Hydro

ScotRail have announced there will be an alcohol ban on trains taking passengers to the Gerry Cinnamon gigs this weekend.

The Castlemilk singer songwriter is set to play two sold out shows at the SSE Hydro tonight and tomorrow night, with thousands of fans making the journey from Glasgow Central to Exhibition Centre by train.

However ScotRail have warned an alcohol ban is in place on the route, while British Transport Police will be on hand to enforce it.

ScotRail say: "Heading to see Gerry Cinnamon at the SSE Hydro tonight? Have a Belter of a night and make sure you check your services before hand.

"Alcohol Ban is in place between Glasgow and Exhibition Centre, we'll have a British Transport Police presence at our stations."

Gerry, who will be releasing his eagerly anticipated second album ‘The Bonny’ on April 10, will also play a huge stadium gig at Hampden next July, with tickets already on sale for the summer show.
