Albion Rovers winger Kyle Doherty admits his dog Jasper is a lucky omen after his pet watched him score four in a 6-0 SPFL Trust Trophy second round win over St Mirren 'B'.
And he joked that Jasper isn't allowed to miss any of Rovers' games in future, having seen all of their victories this term.
Doherty netted the second, third, fourth and fifth goals after Aiden Clocherty's unfortunate own-goal in three minutes, with Kieran Dolan adding a sixth in the last minute at Cliftonhill.
The delighted 19-year-old said: "I think every game he's been to we've won! He missed a game against Annan and we lost, so he's not allowed to not come now.
"He'll be at the Cowdenbeath game on Saturday, don't worry!"

On a serious note, Doherty says manager Brian Reid talking to him after training has convinced him to hit the goals trail and he hopes that continues next weekend as Rovers strive to get more points in the League Two table.
Doherty said: "I'm delighted to score four goals. The gaffer spoke to me during training, saying I was scoring in every session and I need to put it into games, and I've showed him that I can do that today.
"It's a good confidence boost and I was at St Mirren under-18s a few years ago, so I felt like I had something to prove to them, so I was happy with it.
"I'm obviously happy to score, but that's what my job is at the end of the day, so I need to keep doing that on a regular basis.
"But it's nice to score four goals - I don't think that happens much often."
