Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid says he only has room for two more signings, and says this is the earliest he has ever done his pre-season business.
The Cliftonhill gaffer has brought in defenders Aldin El Zubaidi and James McGowan, midfielders Scott Roberts and David Wilson, and striker Declan Byrne.
And they moved on Monday evening to sign goalkeeper Cammy Binnie from Stirling Albion.
From last season, he has re-signed goalkeeper Chris Smith, defender Alfie Robinson, midfielders Ryan Stevenson, Aron Lynas, Callum Wilson and Jamie Leslie and striker Kyle Doherty.
New deals were also announced for Sean Fagan and Jamie McKernon earlier this week.
The club’s reserves and the loan system will provide the rest of the squad, while Reid says he has two stars coming in that he can’t yet announce.

He said: “We’ve been quietly working away getting some players in – we’re not far away now, we only need a couple of other positions and then that’s probably us, we’re ready to go.
“We can then utilise some younger players from our reserves squad, plus we’ll look at probably bringing in a couple of young loans in to boost the squad that way.
“We’ve brought in some good, experienced players that will help some of our very good young players.
“That’s probably the earliest I’ve done my business any time I’ve been at any club , so I’ve probably only got room for another couple.
“It’s going to be a smaller squad; we’re trying to go with a bit more quality rather than quantity.”
