Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid says he had a pop at his players at half-time because he felt Annan were dominating them, but was delighted with the response as they won 1-0 to secure their League Two status.
Owen Moxon's red card reduced Annan to 10 men in 58 minutes, Rovers stepped it up, and within a minute sub Jamie Leslie had headed in Lewis Wilson's cross to secure three precious points.
Reid said the target is Stenhousemuir, who sit a point above in sixth place, but travel to Annan on Tuesday, while Rovers are idle.
But for now he's pleased to have taken the three points they needed to ensure survival this season.
Reid said: "Before the game I think we were nearly there but it's always nice to just cement that, but I said before that our aim now is to try and finish as high up as we can.

"I know that results went our way today and we can try to catch Stenny, that is our ultimate goal between now and the end of the season and it gives us a good platform for that with the win today, so I'm pleased.
"It's pleasing to get a clean sheet, score and win against Annan; I think Annan are a decent team.
"It was a difficult game, very scrappy, and they caused us a few problems in terms of physicality and long throw-ins into the box. We had to make sure we defended it properly, but overall we did that and I'm just pleased to get the clean sheet and the three points.
"We had to dig in. I said to the players that I don't think we started the first half, I thought they were better than us, were winning too many headers and battles for my liking, they looked a bit fitter and sharper than us.
"I had a wee pop at half-time because I didn't think that was us, we've been better than that since the restart, so in the second half we upped it a wee bit and got more on the front foot."
