Albert Wilson is hyped for he and Jakeem Grant to return

Big things can come in little packages. It’s easy to overlook Dolphins receivers Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant based on their size — just don’t tell them that. Wilson and Grant’s 2018 seasons were prematurely cut short on account of injuries but each was on the way to big things and are looking to pick up right where they left off.

Wilson posted a hype video to his social media account yesterday, showcasing the speed of this diminutive duo — it’s pretty cool to see so much chemistry between teammates. Especially at the wide receiver position, where the general stereotype is that receivers want the ball all to themselves. Not the case with Grant and Wilson.

Wilson, who scored a career high 4 touchdowns in just 7 games played last season, was one of the more potent run after catch receivers in the entire league. Grant didn’t find that same level of receiving production, but as an open space athlete he made plenty of impact plays of his own for the Dolphins.

Setting the expectation that either of these names will be alpha receivers for the Dolphins would be too ambitious, but both will provide plenty of opportunities to help the Dolphins’ passing offense create more explosive plays in 2019 and beyond.
