Albert Hammond Jr, singer-songwriter and lead guitarist with New York-based rock outfit The Strokes, will tour his solo set across Australia. He launched his side project with the blessing of the band in 2006. His debut album, Yours to Keep, sounded a little like a lo-fi Beach Boys and Hammond admitted he uses many of the songs the band rejects. His third studio album, Momentary Masters, recorded in Hammond’s home was released in 2015.
