Albert Hall to undertake repairs on roof

The Albert Hall will be undertaking some repairs on the roof and to prevent further damages.

A decision by the Nottingham City Council on Friday (December 10) has been taken to repair works to the roof of the city centre property to prevent water ingress.

The reason for the decision is because the council is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the exterior of the property.

The tenant has reported water ingress and damage to the interior plaster work of the building.

A subsequent inspection has shown various areas of repair required to the roof repair to lead flashing and clearance of gutters being required.

Scaffold will be erected for access to undertake the repair.

The cost of the works are yet to be budgeted for but will be offset against income rental received.
