Albert Dock to be lit with more than one million twinkling lights

Liverpool’s iconic Royal Albert Dock will be lit up with more than a million twinkling lights this weekend.

As longer nights sweep in and the clocks turn back this Sunday, October 25, the dock will become one of the city’s most scenic attractions.

Each of the Albert Dock’s 86 inner quay columns will be lit with twinkling lights this Sunday, allowing visitors to explore the shops, restaurants and cultural attractions in a stunning setting.

Whether you’re out and about doing some early Christmas shopping, visiting a local restaurant to show support during this trying time or just looking for a scenic walk, the lights provide the perfect backdrop.

During your visit you can take advantage of the dock’s many attractions still able to open despite the region’s tier three lockdown, including The Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool and the Merseyside Maritime Museum.
