Albert Dock restaurant to close this weekend after three years

A restaurant which has been on the Albert Dock for the last three years is to close its doors this weekend.

Puffle Waffle recently won a Travellers Choice Award 2020 on TripAdvisor but has confirmed it is leaving its dock location as its short term lease comes to an end.

The restaurant, which sells traditional Hong Kong street food style waffles, gained a loyal fan base of customers and was listed as one of the top five places for desserts in Liverpool on TripAdvisor.

Puffle Waffle began at food festivals before launching in Anchor Court at the Albert Dock in October 2017.

Kenneth Cheung, Founder and Managing Director said: “The Royal Albert Dock has been an amazing location, it really has put us on the map with customers from all over the world travelling especially to visit us!”

Puffle Waffle launched three new flavours for its final weekend - Biscoff caramel, banoffee cinnamon and chocolate galore.

Mr Cheung added: “I would like to thank all our loyal customers, it has been really fun sharing our love for coffee and Puffle waffles with all of you. Follow our social media to see where we will be next!”.

Puffle Waffle will close at the Albert Dock this Sunday, September 6.
