ALBERT ON HIS WAY BACK?
Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi has given a strong hint that Albert Adomah will return to the City Ground this week.
Adomah is currently on loan at Cardiff City having moved to south Wales in January, and has impressed as Neil Harris’ Bluebirds have surged into the Championship’s top six winning their last two since the restart.
The Forest winger’s loan deal is set to expire on Tuesday, and boss Harris stated his annoyance at the situation over the weekend, aiming his disappointment at the EFL.
SOW LEFT SWEATING
Head coach Sabri Lamouchi says it was his “choice” to leave Samba Sow out of the Nottingham Forest matchday squad against Huddersfield Town.
The midfielder has not played since February due to a knee problem, and has been absent for the first two games of the Championship restart.
There was a return for Ben Watson in the 3-1 success at the City Ground - after the skipper had missed last week’s 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.
ALL HAIL KING GRABBAN
Sabri Lamouchi hailed the importance of Lewis Grabban, after his brace helped secure a 3-1 victory over Huddersfield Town.
And he has backed the striker to keep adding to his goal tally as the Reds look for a strong finish to the season in the promotion race.
Forest got back to winning ways in their first home game since the Championship’s restart, with Grabban finding the back of the net with clinical finishes either side of half-time.
COWLEY WANTED TWO MORE PENALTIES
Danny Cowley bemoaned his side’s luck after being swept aside 3-1 at Nottingham Forest.
The defeat leaves Cowley’s Terriers inside the Championship’s bottom three, but the former Lincoln boss feels his men should have been given a free-kick in the build-up to Lewis Grabban’s terrific volley two minutes before the break.
Prior to Sabri Lamouchi’s men hitting the front courtesy of Grabban’s 18th goal of the season, Cowley felt his side were well in the contest, despite failing to trouble Brice Samba in the Forest goal.
