Alanis Morissette musical 'Jagged Little Pill' to livestream reunion show

You oughta know that "Jagged Little Pill," the hit Broadway musical shuttered by coronavirus, is back.

The cast of the musical, inspired by Alanis Morissette's iconic discography, will reunite for a one-night show on Dec. 13 that will be livestreamed for Broadway fans at home, the show announced Monday.

Stars Elizabeth Stanley, Celia Rose Gooding, Sean Allan Krill, Derek Klena, Lauren Patten, Kathryn Gallagher and Antonio Cipriano will all return to their roles from the stage of Shubert Studios for the first time in 10 months.

"Jagged Little Pill," which premiered on Broadway in December, revolves around a seemingly perfect Connecticut family that threatens to unravel under the weight of a rape that affects the entire community.

The critically acclaimed show earned 15 Tony nominations, including best musical.

Early bird tickets are now available for $27 through partner theaters, including Count Basie Center for the Arts in New Jersey, The National Theatre in Washington, D.C., and Broadway in Hollywood in Los Angeles, with a portion of the proceeds going back to those theaters for future programming.

Regular-price tickets go on sale Nov. 23 for $33, with special Jagged Companion Packages available from $59 that include "show merchandise, 'Jagged Little Pill' wines by Broadway Wine Club, and/or a copy of the new behind-the-scenes book 'Jagged Little Pill: You Live, You Learn.'"

The show will be livestreamed through Stellar at 8 p.m. on Dec. 13.
