Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid have been forced to shut down a heated row between Alan Sugar and George Galloway over the latter's alleged anti-semitic tweet.
Galloway got sacked by talkRadio yesterday over a tweet about Liverpool's Champions League win against Tottenham.
"Congratulations to the great people of Liverpool to the memory of the socialist miner Bill Shankley (sic) to the fallen 96 to those who fought for justice for them and to the Liverpool dockers. No Israel flags on the Cup!" he wrote in an apparent reference to Tottenham's links with the Jewish community.
Refusing to apologise, the Echo reported how he appeared on Good Morning Britain today where he declared he would "call out the Israel flag every time" he sees it.
He said: "I have spent 45 years campaigning for the Palestinians. What has Judaism got to do with Israel? I am against Israel.
"I had been watching those flags all evening. Most of them were not Jewish. I am against it because it flutters over the Gaza fence when children are being killed by snipers."
Piers tried to rationalise that people at the final in Madrid waving Israeli flags would themselves have been Jewish.
Tottenham are very proud of their Jewish heritage and many were deeply offended by his choice of words.
Galloway refuted this statement and told Susanna not to talk to him about attacks when she said anti-semitism was on the rise.
He said: "There are more attacks against Muslims, but you don't want to talk about that.
"Don't talk to me about attacks I can show you my scars. I stand against all of it."
