Former Celtic star Alan Stubbs has offered an olive branch to the Louden Tavern 22 years after helping ruin their 10-in-a-row title Rangers party.
The former Hoops stars has posted a press clipping from the established Ibrox supporters club from 1998 as Walter Smith's pushed for a record-breaking league run.
But it was Wim Jansen's side who would emerge victorious that season and leave Rangers' ultimate dream in tatters and the club's shindig muted.
Stubbs stoked the fires by offering the Louden and its members the chance to make up for it by savouring Celtic potentially doing the same next season.
He said: "Sorry to have spoiled the party guys 10 in a row....but you can celebrate next year's one with us if you want too?"
The Hoops 13 points clear amid lockdown with the SPFL having to make a final decision on the league season before UEFA's deadline on May 25.
A ninth successive triumph for Neil Lennon's side would leave them just one title away from Scottish football imortality.
And it comes after Stubbs warned Rangers last week they should be careful what they wish after the club railed against the season-ending vote in the Championship, League One and League Two.
He said: “Rangers should be very careful because if they start saying this campaign should be null and void then what about all the leagues they won when they were later found in court to be bending the rules regarding their tax avoidance?
“The difference here is that Celtic have done nothing wrong while Rangers did do something wrong and still kept those titles."
