Alan Shearer sings at Wembley as England beat Denmark in Euro's semi-final

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer may have been on pundit duty for England's game against Denmark but showed at heart that he's just a fan like anyone else.

The former England striker was in his usual spot for the BBC meaning he was handed a unique vantage point of the whole stadium - and the 60,000 who were lucky enough to get inside.

The semi-final clash ended 2-1 to England after extra time and the atmosphere was superb from start to finish - as Shearer documented on his Instagram.

The 50-year-old captured the scenes before kick-off and at full-time with the crowd in a loud rendition of Sweet Caroline.

Shearer, not shy of sharing singing talents, can be heard joining in with the crowd for Neil Diamond's classic hit.

Denmark went ahead in the game thanks to a stunning free-kick from Mikkel Damsgaard but thankfully England levelled thanks to an own goal from Simon Kjaer.

Harry Kane then grabbed the winner in extra-time reacting first after seeing his penalty saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

The result has sent the country into a celebration - perhaps not surprising given the last 18 months of lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions.

England now face Italy at Wembley in their first major tournament final since the winning year of 1966.
