Aston Villa midfielder played a starring role for his side again as the newly-promoted team secured a third win of the season against Brighton.
The 24-year-old scored his side's first goal of 2-1 win against Brighton, and set up the game's injury-time winner at Villa Park.
Grealish has been in fine form for the Villans, but he might already have left the club had things been slightly different.
The midfielder looked set to complete a move to Spurs in the summer of 2018, waving goodbye to the Villa Park faithful in the final game of the 2017/18 season ahead of what looked like an exit.
But it never came to pass, and Grealish grafted in the Championship to help get his club promoted back to the Premier League last season.
Following a good run so far this season, the pundits have taken note with Alan Shearer noting what a positive impact he is having on the side - something Spurs could probably do with right now.
"He [Grealish] was better than alright," Shearer said on Match of the Day.
"Back to back wins for Villa and back to back goals for him. He was absolutely fantastic.
"The manager has been asking him to play a lot closer to the centre-forward Wesley predominantly from that left-hand side and it's suiting his game.
"It's given him some freedom to go and roam. The weight of pass was brilliant for the second goal. What a performance from him in front of the England manager.
"He is more consistent [compared to last time in the Premier League] and he is an all-round better player."
