Former Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer heaped praise on Arsenal's pressing game following their 3-1 win over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.
After falling behind to an early strike from Youri Tielemans, the Gunners responded just six minutes before half time, as David Luiz nodded home Willian's brilliant free-kick delivery.
With the contest looking poised to be level pegging at the break, Arsenal were handed the chance to turn the game on its head via the penalty spot, after Wilfred Nididi was guilty of handling Nicolas Pepe's shot inside the penalty area.
Alexandre Lacazette stepped up to the task of taking the penalty and sent Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way in the Foxes goal.
Things got even better for the Gunners just seven minutes into the second half when Pepe got himself on the scoresheet, tapping home Willian's low cross to seal the points for Mikel Arteta's side once and for all.
Whilst it was Willian's brace of assists and Pepe's goal that dominated the headlines after the game, former England striker Shearer waxed lyrical about one of the Gunners' main qualities that was key, collectively, to inspiring a solid away win over Brendan Rodgers' side.
"What was evident was their pressing," Shearer told BBC Sport. "They went after Leicester. They were all on the same page, they showed great character from coming back from a goal down, it didn’t change their attitude.
"They pressed in threes and fours and constantly won the ball back. It didn’t change second half, they chose when to go and then went with energy.
"If they don’t win the first one, they win the second. Some big performances from Willian and Pepe.
"That’s what’s let them down this season (consistency). Too many times this season, I think they can go on and build from that performance today."
