Alan Shearer has heaped praise on Leeds United's 'refreshing' style in the Premier League.
The Whites have made a big impact in their first season back in the top flight, taking a point off Manchester City and pushing champions Liverpool all the way in an exhilarating contest.
It has won over plenty of fans, including Premier League legend Shearer.
The former striker says Marcelo Bielsa's side have shown they do not hold any fear, no matter who they are playing against thanks to their determination to attack sides.
Speaking to The Athletic, Shearer admitted he would not be able to fit into a style like Bielsa's because of the manager's determination to get every outfield player pressing the opposition.
"Pressing is a phenomenon now and it’s not just the top few teams that do it," he said.
"You look at Leeds coming up from the Championship playing that way under Bielsa and they have come up to the Premier League and they’re doing exactly the same.
"I love his approach and the way, excuse my language, they don’t give a flying f*** who they’re up against.
"It was so refreshing to see them go to Anfield and play the way they did.
"Then to see them play the way they did against Manchester City, that was a brilliant advert for the Premier League to see two teams going at each other like that.
"It’s so refreshing. Their work rate is phenomenal.
"When I was playing, I could have a stinker for 89 minutes and then if I scored one goal, I would be named man of the match.
"The way the game is now, I would say players would find it harder to get away with not working and not pressing.
"If you don’t, it’s there for all to see."
