Alan Murphy has stepped down as manager of Galway United FC.
The Tribesman stalwart took charge in June 2018 but Galway have recorded no wins and four draws from their opening seven games of the disrupted First Division season and lie second from bottom in the table.
"We would like to thank Alan for all of his hard work and wish him all the best in the future," read a club statement.
"We will not be commenting further on the matter and will begin the search for a successor immediately".
