If Ireland do reach the Euro 2020 finals, it would make it some 30th year anniversary for the Judge family if midfielder Alan was to play on that stage at the Aviva Stadium.
For he was a mascot as a toddler when his dad Dermot captained Bray Wanderers to FAI Cup glory in Lansdowne Road.
“That would be brilliant, amazing, to get to a Euros and have one or two games here," said Alan. "I couldn’t think of anything better, really.
"I was a mascot for my dad in 1990. I’m not sure how much I remember of it, but that’s a fact that I was there.
"My dad used to take me to a few games there so, yeah, I've good memories of being at Lansdowne. It would be great to get there in the Aviva.
“The last time we made the Euros (2016), I was there that night when we beat Germany.
"I think it was me and (Shane) Duffy, we were part of it, but we weren’t really because we were only breaking in. It felt a bit awkward., though obviously it was great that night.
"But now I feel I’ve contributed a little bit, I’ve played in some of the games. I want to play, but everybody just wants to get there.
"If I play or don’t play, if we get there, I don’t really care."
Tottenham's Troy Parrott is one player who could make a dramatic impact against Denmark on Monday.
"Troy, physically for a 17-year-old, looks very good," said Ipswich's Judge.
“He’s got great movement. He scored a few goals in training yesterday, so I look forward to seeing him a lot more”.
