Alan Halsall and Tisha Merry share loved-up snaps from their romantic trip to Amsterdam

Days after confirming that they're a couple, Coronation Street's Alan Halsall and his former co-star Tisha Merry have shared super-sweet snaps from a romantic trip to Amsterdam.

Tisha, who played Steph Britton in Corrie , posted her and Alan's holiday photos on Instagram after the pair went public with their off-screen romance.

Photos show the pair smiling from ear to ear as they cosy up while sightseeing.

"Ooh hope u both had fun.. love️ it there! #favecity," said Samia Longchambon who plays Maria Connor in Corrie.
"You guys look so so happy together, good luck with your future together," said another follower.

"Awesome! What a lovely couple. So happy that @alanhalsall has found happiness again. All the best to you both xx" said another.

And another wrote: "Looking happy there girl."

The soap stars recently shared a photo of them laughing together while attending co-star Sam Aston's wedding.

Alan, 36, who has played mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the show since 1998, posted the image with the message: "Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston What a wonderful day, we’re so proud to be part of it."

Tisha, 25, who played waitress Steph from 2013 until 2017, also posted the same snap on her Instagram along with a yellow heart emoji.

Sam, who plays Chesney Brown, married his fiancée Briony Gardner last Sunday at the Stock Farm Estate in Tatton.

Alan and Tisha were first pictured together in February when Alan shared a picture of them watching the Salford Red Devils at AJ Bell Stadium.

Alan split from his wife and former co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson in 2017 and the couple have a daughter, Sienna-Rae.

Earlier this year his ex Lucy-Jo, who he met on Corrie when she played killer Katy Harris, hit back at 'cruel' trolls commenting on her new relationship.

The Hollyoaks actress  is now dating entertainer Lewis Devine and, clapping back at the comments, she said both she and Alan have moved on since their split are happy in new relationships.

Lucy-Jo confirmed their marriage was over last April following rumours the couple had split after eight years of marriage.

In a statement via her agent she said: “I can confirm that Al and I are in the process of divorcing.

“We remain friends and devoted Mummy and Daddy to our daughter Sienna.
