Alan Foster countersuit alleges LaVar Ball used stolen money to fund ‘extravagant lifestyle’

Details of a countersuit filed by Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster were released on Wednesday evening. The suit accuses LaVar Ball of not only being responsible for the over two million dollars in missing money but as using the money to “fund his extravagant lifestyle.”

From the lawsuit, as reported by The Blast.

“According to the documents, Foster says after the companies started to make money, LaVar Ball misappropriated more than $2.5 million in company assets to fund his extravagant lifestyle. He accuses LaVar of spending millions upgrading the $6 million Ball Estate and purchasing $1 million in luxury cars.

Some of those expenditures include cars, specifically a Rolls Royce Dawn, a Bentley Mulsanne and two other vehicles.

Also, he says Ball made upgrades to his home including, artificial turf, furniture, painting the home, carpet, redoing the swimming pool, custom BBB chandeliers, a home theater and new air conditioning.”

The countersuit is a response to a lawsuit filed in late March by Lonzo Ball alleging Foster as the one responsible for the missing money. After an initial figure of $1.5 million was reported, a larger figure in excess of two million dollars was listed on the lawsuit.

The $2.5 million amount listed in Foster’s countersuit is the first time that exact has been reported.

Also in the suit is accusations that LaVar “intentionally misled” Lonzo about Foster’s alleged theft of the missing money.
