Alan Cumming has taken to social media to confirm he is not Bagpipes in The Masked Singer as fans speculate who is under the Scottish themed costume.
The Masked Singer returned to our screens on New Year's Day and the first Scots themed contestant has fans theorising over who it could be.
Fans have been suggesting celebs from David Tennant, to Richard Madden, and Ally McCoist as they try to work out who is under the mask.
However, Alan took himself out of the running as the Scottish actor penned on Twitter: "Newsflash: I am not on @MaskedSingerUK nor will I ever be. Thank you."
Disappointed fans responded to the actors tweet.
One wrote: "Thats ten pound I lost now thought you were bagpipes. loved your programme with Miriam Margolyes we need another one fabulous it was you both in the camper."
"Lol my missus thought it was you , when I pointed out the " bit of Scottish heritage " clue , not the " camp and very talented jock " clue not being there," said another.
Someone else replied: "That’s exactly what a masked singer would say."
After Bagpipes performance on the weekend, some fans aren't convinced the singer is Scottish at all after hearing their accent.
One user tweeted: "The accent on the Bagpipes on The Masked Singer is a crime against the Scottish people."
"Bagpipes in the VT sounds like David Tennant putting on a rubbish Scottish accent to put us off lol #MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger," wrote another.
Someone else guessed: "The Bagpipes sounds familiar. The Scottish thing is a distraction or weak connection. The tumbling rock may mean they played with a rolling stone? #MaskedSinger "
The masked contestant was in the bottom three on Sunday's show after a performing Blur's Song 2, but survived for another week.
