Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow fans rage over 'missing' part of much-loved game

Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow fans were not happy as they claimed the remake missed a major part of a much-loved game.

Tonight's episode focused on 1980s gameshow Bullseye - a cult classic in the UK made famous by Jim Bowen.

Four pairs of contestants took on the dart boards and questions with the chance to win a number of expensive prizes.

While fans were happy to see the return of the infamous speedboat, some weren't pleased to see Bully's Star Prize Gamble replaced by the new endgame – The Four Boards of Bully.

In the original show, the winning team would decided if they wanted to risk their prizes for a chance to win Bully's mystery Star Prize.

If they chose to gamble, the team would be given six darts to score 101 points or more on a standard matchplay dartboard.

However, in tonight's Four Boards of Bully there were four rotating dartboards where players were required to hit the red section, which became smaller after each win.

While some viewers enjoyed the adaptation, others said they should have kept the "101 game" in.

Gareth tweeted: "I miss the 101 in 6 darts."

James said: "Why not just have it the two players have to get 101 like the old programme did?!"

Rhys wrote: "No 101 in 6 darts final either...Some weird spinning boards thingy instead. Would it have hurt to just copy the original format?"

But others didn't mind, saying they hoped the show is renewed for a second series.
