Alan Carr is the latest celebrity to go on holiday in Wales as he shares photos from amusement arcade

Alan Carr is the latest star to spent his summer holiday taking in the sights and attractions that Wales has to offer.

The comedian has been sharing snaps of his trips to popular tourist spots across North Wales with his one million followers on Instagram - leaving some fans "gutted" that they had missed out on an opportunity to meet him, as reported by North Wales Live.

The ‘Chatty Man’ comic posted a picture of himself enjoying the amusements at an arcade in Barmouth, Gwynedd on Tuesday, August 3.

It attracted thousands of likes and nearly 100 comments in less than an hour.

One fan said: “Just came home from Barmouth - feel gutted I didn’t see you!”

Another said: “Love a wee holiday in Barmouth - beautiful coastline!!”

The arcade image was followed by several Instagram story snaps showcasing Alan's adventure across the region - including visits to Snowdonia National Park and the Palé Hall Hotel in Bala.

He also shared an image of Portmeirion before posting a final picture of a seagull back at Barmouth beach.

Hollywood star Tom Hardy went to Barry Island two days in a row and people couldn't believe it.
