Alan Carr earns new title after buying Scottish castle

Comedian Alan Carr has confirmed he has purchased Ayton Castle in Scotland, which includes a barony title.
The acquisition means Carr will become a Scottish baron and will also receive his own tartan.
His experience of buying and running the 19th-century stately home will be documented in a new Disney+ series titled Castle Man.
Carr was inspired to buy a castle after his time on BBC One's Celebrity Traitors, which was filmed at Ardross Castle.
The series will follow Carr as he attempts to build a life at Ayton Castle ahead of his 50th birthday, fulfilling a long-held dream.
