Epic Gameshow viewers took to social media on Saturday night after Alan Carr made a cheeky dig about Meghan Markle.
The host of the new ITV show cracked the joke while introducing celebrity contestants who were hoping to win some cash for their chosen charities.
Chris Kamara was teamed up with Fallon Sherrock for the game. Introducing the professional darts player, Alan said: "Welcome Fallon, now you were the first female darts player to win a match at the world championships."
"As a pro you must have a nickname, what's your nickname?" he then asked.
Fallon explained that she was referred to as Queen of the Palace, leading Alan to crack a joke.
The Epic Gameshow host responded: "I think that's the nickname Meghan had her heart set on. But look how that turned out."
Alan then teased: "What's she like?"
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines in March following their interview with Oprah Winfrey about the Royal Family.
Some viewers were shocked by the joke and took to social media to share their thoughts, reports The Mirror.
"Alan Carr is a funny man, there's no denying that. But he's gone too far with that Meghan Markle comment after all that she's come to reveal recently," fumed one viewer.
"Epic Gameshow, really? Making snide remarks about Meghan Markle. Are we still on this subject? That's actually annoyed me," raged another unimpressed viewer.
A third asked: "For the love of God why is Alan Carr bashing Meghan Markle before 9pm?"
Not everyone felt the same, however, with one writing: "Why is everyone complaining so much? It was a joke. He's a comedian. That's literally his job people."
While another added: "Alan Carr is one quick man with that Meghan Markle jibe. Genius man."
