Alan Carr cringes as he shares his husband's 'awful' nicknames for him

Alan Carr has shared his husband's "awful" nicknames for him, revealing his partner calls him "chubster" and introduces him as "Bungle from Rainbow".

The telly favourite, 44, has been married to Paul Drayton since 2018, and Alan has opened up about their playful relationship.

Speaking on Radio 2 Alan & Mel Show with Melanie Sykes, he told his co-host Paul as a range of unflattering nicknames for him.

He explained: "They're awful ones... Chubs, the Chubster, Chunky, Bunkle - you know, Carrbunkle - Bunkley."

Mel then asked who has been calling him the "funny names" and Alan replied: "Paul my other half. He says, 'Here he is here's Bunkle.'

"I'm called the Carrbunkle - and let's not forget Bungle from Rainbow."

Mel then asked Alan what he'd like to be called and Alan replied: "I'd like to be called Butch."

His co-host laughed and added: "That's never going to happen!"

He explained: "There's this app that can make you look like a bodybuilder muscleman.

"And I was desperate, so I paid for it and yes I do look very chiselled.
