Alan Brazil launches Celtic rant as he brands commentator Ian Crocker 'a big bluenose'

Fed-up Alan Brazil vented his Celtic frustrations live on-air as he branded Sky Sports' Ian Crocker "a big bluenose".

The radio veteran aimed a lighthearted barb at the commentator following Rangers' 4-1 derby demolition at Ibrox on Sunday.

Hosting his talkSPORT Breakfast show, Brazil grumbled as Ally McCoist gleefully introduced snippets of Crocker's commentary of Jermain Defoe's late strike.

He barked at McCoist: "Your big bluenose mate! He is a bluenose, that commentator!"

But the Ibrox legend, who sat alongside Crocker at Ibrox, immediately leapt to his defence.

He insisted it's clear his commentary is impeccable because Rangers fans often make the opposite accusation.

McCoist replied: "Well he must be doing his job because the bluenoses think he's one of you lot! He's the best in the business, our Crocks.

"Another magical day for Rangers and Steven Gerrard."

Brazil went on to reveal he couldn't even bring himself to watch the fixture but bemoaned Callum McGregor's first-half red card.

He even coined an unwanted new nickname for his beloved Celtic.

Brazil continued: "I didn't watch it, I was in my garden. I didn't want to depress myself even more, I didn't watch it.

"There's no one in the ground, the referees, I can't put up with it any more.

"You want to see the stats in the Old Firm games, it is diabolical. Talk about 10-men?

"That should be their name, '10 Men Celtic'. A Celtic player brushes a Rangers player and it's a yellow card.

"It's a joke, honestly."
