Henry Ruggs tore up the NFL combine with a 4.28-second 40-yard dash, and he’s almost certainly going to land in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. But his high school basketball highlights are almost as impressive as his college highlight reel as a receiver at Alabama.
Turns out, Ruggs is an obscenely nasty dunker. His best dunks went viral on Twitter following his strong combine performance. The video included 360 dunks, a few posterizing dunks, an alley-oop and one impressive block.
Of course, the video didn’t show how well Ruggs shot the basketball when he wasn’t going in for a slam. Still, I can’t help but wonder what his pro prospects might look like, if he’d played college basketball.
