Alabama’s Najee Harris had the most astonishing TD of the 2019 season

Alabama running back Najee Harris had the most impressive sequence on a single play of the 2019 college football season so far.

Against South Carolina on the road Saturday, Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw Harris the ball on 4th-and-2 midway through the second quarter. Harris had plenty of obstacles in front of him on the play, but that clearly didn’t matter.

Harris made the catch at about the first-down mark, stiff-armed South Carolina linebacker D.J. Wonnum and threw him to the ground, hurdled over defensive back R.J. Roderick and blew past everyone else into the end zone. And when he got there, the threw his arms up and out in a very Megan Rapinoe kind of way, capping off a perfect sequence of events.

Seriously, this is like an unrealistic video game play, not a real life play.

It was Harris’ second touchdown of the game, making him the first Alabama running back with multiple receiving touchdowns in a game in the last 20 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Info. He and Tagovailoa got the Crimson Tide on the board first with a 24-yard touchdown early in the first quarter.

But it was his incredible second touchdown that had college football fans absolutely stunned.
