Alabama LB Dylan Moses tears ACL, what it means for the Tide

On Wednesday, it was reported that Alabama star linebacker Dylan Moses had suffered a severe injury in practice Tuesday night per AL.com

Unfortunately, we later found out that the injury is an ACL tear, which will require the All-SEC junior to miss the 2019 season with the Tide.

Moses was expected to play a significant role in the Alabama defense this season, after recording 86 total tackles in his first two seasons in Tuscaloosa.

The Tide will now turn to freshman Shane Lee, after the loss of Moses and senior linebacker Josh McMillon.

Though Saban is not the most revealing in press conferences, this basically tells us Lee will be starting on Saturday in the most Saban way possible.

As for the Bulldogs, a date with Alabama is not currently on the calendar, as both teams have to make the SEC Championship Game, but it is a likely scenario at this point.

The Crimson Tide open up their 2019 season in Atlanta with Duke in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. Though very depleted, Alabama should still run away with the game.
