Al Qaeda invites journalists' questions

A new video, purporting to come from al Qaeda, has invited journalists to send questions to the organisation's number two, Ayman al Zawahri. If genuine, it represents the first such offer by the terror network since the 9/11 attacks. Al Qaeda's media operation has become increasingly professional over recent months, suggesting that it wishes to reach a broader audience and that Zawahri wants to present himself as a sophisticated leader rather than a terrorist.
