Al Pacino spotted taking a power walk around his Beverly Hills neighbourhood

Al Pacino has shown he's still got it after he was spotted taking a power walk in his Beverly Hills neighbourhood.

The Oscar-winning actor put on his trainers and suit as he stretched his legs while walking around the block of his mansion.

Despite the sunshine, the 82-year-old wore a black suit jacket and pants and opted for a black shirt. Al also wore a black scarf and dark sunglasses and put headphones in as he enjoyed his exercise.

His outing comes after it was announced the Godfather star will soon be teaming up with Johnny Depp for the film Modigliani. The film will be directed by Johnny, 59, who will also co-produce with Al and Barry Navidi.

Modigliani will be the first film the Pirates of the Caribbean star has directed in 25 years as he returns to Hollywood following the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

It will be the first movie Depp has helmed since making his feature directorial debut with the 1997 film The Brave.

The film will be a biopic about Italian painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Modigliani, which is based on the play written by Dennis McIntyre, follows the artist in Paris in 1916. Production is reportedly set to begin in Europe in spring 2023 and casting will also be revealed soon.

"The saga of Mr. Modigliani’s life is one that I’m incredibly honoured, and truly humbled, to bring to the screen," Johnny told The Hollywood Reporter.

Barry Navidi said: "This project has been very close to Al’s heart. Al introduced me to the play Modigliani many years ago and I instantly fell in love with it."

"This is a slice of Modi’s life and not a bio. It’s been a dream of mine to work with Johnny again — he’s a true artist with an amazing vision to bring this great story to the screen."

News of the film comes after Depp took on the role of King Louis XV in Jeanne Du Barry, his first film role since his defamation trial against Heard earlier this year.

Depp successfully sued his ex-wife over a newspaper article titled: "I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change."

Although the op-ed did not directly name the actor, Depp's lawyers successfully argued in court that the article defamed him and impacted his career, thanks to the implied allegations he had abused his ex-wife throughout their marriage - something the actor has always strongly denied.
