The Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism has launched a campaign to raise awareness about extremism.
The campaign was announced on the occasion of the 10th of Ramadan victory that witnessed Israel’s defeat by Egypt and its reclamation of the Suez in 1973.
The campaign includes messages of awareness to the youths about the value of the nation and their role in achieving development and prosperity amid the major challenges in the region and the threat of extremist groups.
In a statement, Al-Azhar said the campaign was being launched at a time when terrorist organizations were escalating their hostile rhetoric against nations and undermining their values.
The Observatory was therefore prompted to respond to those claims.
It will release its messages in 13 languages. They will refute the claims of the extremist groups that contradict the values of religion and nations.
