Singer Akriti Kakkar got married to Delhi boy, director Chirag Arora, who is now settled in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony took place on March 5. Akriti’s younger sister Prakriti shared a picture on her Instagram account and wrote, “Congratulations to my world @akritikakar. You’re hitched! Love you no ends! @chiragaroraa and you are goals here’s to Forever! #lovelikethis #Akirag all the way!”
Born and brought up in Delhi, Akriti hit the limelight with hit songs Saturday Saturday (Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, 2014) and Iski Uski (2 States), both starring Bollywood star Alia Bhatt. She also has a solo album to her credit titled Akriti which released in 2010 and had compositions by Shankar Mahadevan besides herself.
