New Delhi: Promise of MSP only good in 'speeches' not ground reality, says Akhilesh Yadav in Lok Sabha few minutes back. He also asked the Centre why the farm laws weren't being repealed if farmers were not accepting it
He said, In India's history, farmers haven’t been so humiliated. If the government says that laws are for farmers, why is it not taking it back, if farmers aren't accepting it? People, for whom it has been formed, don't want it. Who is stopping Govt? Are allegations that you rolled out the carpet for corporates and brought these laws not right?
Akhilesh also questioned if the farmers residing in the PM's constituency or the place where the President's hail from got MSP from their rice crop.
