AJMER: A vehicle collided with a truck trailer on Ajmer-Kota road on Friday morning in which one person died while 11 others were injured. The injured were taken to Kekeri hospital.
There were 11 passengers in the jeep who were going to Madhya Pradesh from Jodhpur. Police said that the accident occurred due to low visibility in the area. The accident also caused traffic jam for over two hours.
According to the police the trailer was loaded with marble blocks and was going to Kishangarh. While the other vehicle had 11 passengers and was coming from Jodhpur. "They were all relatives and resident of Sheopur of Madhya Pradesh and had gone to a village in Jodhpur for a relative's funeral," said Prabhu Lal of Kekeri police station. The deceased was identified as Kalu Banjara (65), resident of Sheopur. tnn
